Rain Rejection Test
While in Tallahassee, there was sufficient rainfall to test how the device performed while active in the rain. Window of opportunity for rain was approximately 1.5 hours. As seen in the video below, a small amount of rain did enter the vehicle through the front windows. This was due not to the active fans drawing in water from the side, but due to the design of the vent visors in that they, from the manufacturer, do not cover the entirety of the window.
Visual Obstruction Test
To ensure driving was a safe action to perform, images from the POV of the driver were taken to confirm that the driver could see out the internal rear view mirror, could clearly see the side rear view mirrors, and could see out each window in the front without obstruction as shown below.
The same was checked for the rear driver side and passenger windows to confirm the driver could easily see out of them.
