Week 31 : 3/20/2023 - 3/27/2023

Testing

Testing continued this week with a singular test being performed on Saturday the 25th to get another set of data for our 130% Above Ambient specification for the unit under test. This data, along with data gathered during a group test done on Sunday the 26th, will be used to confirm the device provides more cooling than non-optimized cross flow ventilation on Monday the 27th.

Later this week, testing of low level requirements will be performed following the test on Monday the 27th after modifications made to perform the Crossflow Ventilation comparison test are reversed.

Design Report and Testing / ATP Updates

The UUT ATP has been updated to reflect our current testing done to date and work has continued on the report. Data has been charted in Excel/Google Docs for confirmation of our test results with the results documented based on the PASS/FAIL criteria within the ATP. These include additional 4.1.1 tests, 4.1.2 test, and 4.1.3 test. The ATP is available for viewing on the Project Website.

For the report, a system Schematic showing labeled connections for each of the modules was made for use in the report when discussing the individual components within each module in detail in chapter 3.

In chapter 3 of the report, the section for the Power Module has been updated with relevant information and will be edited with proper table/figure labels as we progress. My focus will now be on the Cooling Module describing the hardware and implementation of the cooling fans into the vent visors as well as the issues that arose during construction.
